New Resource - Canadian Online Art Book Project

image of ebookThe Art Canada Institute (ACI) has published a series of online, open-acess biographies on artists such as Emily Carr and Tom Thomson.  The collection is available through SuperSearch, the library catalogue, and at the ACI website.

Oxford Art Online offers access to a number of searchable online art resources. Through a single gateway users can access—and simultaneously cross-search—an expanding range of Oxford’s art reference works: Grove Art Online, the Benezit Dictionary of Artists, the Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, The Oxford Companion to Western Art, and The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms, as well as many specially commissioned articles and bibliographies available exclusively online.

What if Brock does not have the book I need?

Use RACER (also known as Interlibrary Loan) to request it from another library! This service allows users to search in all Ontario university and worldwide libraries to place requests for items that Brock does not own.
