Getting Help in the Library

  • If you have any questions, please ask for assistance at the Learning Commons Ask Desk, which is located on the Main Floor of the Library
  • Drop by in person or get help by telephone at 905-688-5550 (ext. 4583), whenever the Library is open.
  • Library hours for the Week are available on our website.
  • You can also ask for help by using our chat service. Just click on the Ask Chat with a Librarian icon which appears on the Library's Home Page, and within many of our Library Databases.
  • The Library Help section of the Library web site has information (including video tutorials) on basic and advanced research skills, as well as tech help.

Book an Appointment for Research Help

  • You may email me directly with your research questions at llowry@brocku.ca and I will attempt to respond as soon as possible, or by the next business day (Monday-Friday).
  • You may also schedule a research consultation with me.
    • ​Please use the Book Now link which you will find under my photo on the home page of this guide.
      • Appointments can be made for a 30 minute time slot between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
      • I usually meet with students in my office. which is located on the 11th floor of the Schmon Tower, in Room 1133.
