Access online library resources off-campus using your Brock Portal username and password.

Direct Borrowing

Use your University Identification card to borrow items directly from other Ontario university libraries, as well as other participating university libraries in Canada. These items may be returned to the lending library OR to any other university library.

FAQ

What will students from Windsor and Lakehead need to sign out books?

You need your Brock ID card to sign out books. If you don't have a card, you will need to go to the "Ask Us" desk on the main floor of the Library/Learning Commons to activate your account. 

Will people from the other Universities be able to get books through inter-library loan while they are at Brock?

Yes! Create an account in RACER using your Brock ID number to request items through interlibrary loan.

What will the library hours be during July?

Please consult the Library website for hours.

How do we print or photocopy?

If you would like to print and/or photocopy in the Library, you will need to add funds to your online copy/print account. Find out how to add funds to your account and where to print. You can also print from your laptop or mobile device

Can we use the computers in the library?

Yes. Workstations are available on the main floor of the Library/Learning Commons. All workstations are equipped with productivity software (Microsoft Office, etc.). To log in to the computers you will need your Brock username and password. 

Can I use my laptop in the Library/on campus?

You can access wireless internet from anywhere on campus by logging on to the network with your Brock username and password. ITS offers help on logging onto the wireless network. Don't have a laptop? You can borrow one from the Circulation Desk (main floor of Library).

Where can I meet with my group or catch up on my readings?

There are a number of work and study spaces in the library: group study rooms, graduate student study space (with carrels, seating and a meeting room).
