Scholarly books are a great place to begin your research. Books can give you a broad overview of a topic, whereas journal articles will typically focus on a narrow topic.
Use Omni to search for print and digital books on your topic. Keep in mind that film topics can be described with many different words, for example FILM, MOTION PICTURES, MOVIES, CINEMA. The subject heading for film is MOTION PICTURES.
Search the catalogue of a larger university library or use WorldCat to find additional books. You can use RACER Interlibrary Loan to request these books at no charge. Keep in mind that RACER requests takes 1-2 weeks to arrive.
