Help Finding Books and eBooks @ the Library

Finding books, textbooks, digital ebooks and book chapters is an excellent strategy to find resources that present an overview and summary of research. There are several databases including Brock's Omni database that help search for and retrieve these resources.

Open Educational Resources (OERs) are increasingly becoming important for teachers and learners as open textbooks on general and specific subjects. Although Omni searches many OERs, and the link below for the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) works great, it is probably best for you to search and browse through several database providers to find and OER that works for you. Databases include:

OER Commons

Open Textbook Library

OpenEd (BCcampus)
