Streaming Video & Images

Resources for your studies can many forms including videos. Here at Brock the library provides links to a variety of streaming video services, such as Criterion-on-Demand, Audio Cine, Films on Demand, and NFB Campus. The Library has subscribed to content packages that include thousands of feature films, documentaries, educational films, and video clips covering a wide range of subject matter and genre. Search by title, genre or topic to find a variety of sources apart from scholarly articles.

- Stream feature films.
- Videos cannot be viewed using screensharing apps such as Zoom, Teams, etc., or on mobile devices.
- Permitted Uses
- Find classic films, documentaries, international film, North American feature films, cult classics, new releases, foreign films, literary adaptations, documentaries, animated titles, and independent features

- Described video and closed captioning capabilities
- Register for an NFB Campus account to create custom playlists and access additional educational content

- Stream music from the Naxos, Marco Polo and Da Capo labels.
- Genres include classical music, jazz contemporary, jazz/folk/blues legends, nostalgia, world/folk, new age and chinese music.
- Limited to 5 simultaneous users. Remember to logout when finished.
- Permitted Uses

- Images including painting, photography and sculpture.
- Artstor content is now hosted on the JSTOR platform, and as of August 1, 2024 the Artstor Digital Library platform will be unavailable.

- Permitted uses
- Subjects include, art, architecture, music, religion, anthropology, literature, world history, American Studies, Asian Studies, Classical Studies, Medieval Studies, and Renaissance Studies.
