Data and statistics

Data and statistics are often used interchangeably. But there are some distinctions between the two terms. Generally:

Data - is the raw information from which statistics are created
Statistics - interpret and summarize data

Includes reports on some health-related issues, such as poverty. The Community Observatory works "in partnership with the Niagara community to foster, produce, and disseminate evidence-based research on current and emerging issues."
