Streaming videos are excellent learning tools for labs, writing, information and entertainment. The Library Subscribes to streaming video databases that provide licensed content for viewing, editing, capturing clips when appropriate, downloading descriptions, citations, and transcripts when available. The Library does not subscribe to JoVE videos, but many are open access and freely available for viewing.
The Library provides mediated access to Kanopy. Check out their selection of educational, scientific, popular and documentary videos.
Some professors, TAs and Lab Instructors have created their own videos that should be linked to individual Sakai courses.
Omni (limiting searches by Resource Type: Video/Film) will identify all streaming content including DVDs owned and loadable in the James A. Gibson and IRC libraries.
