Finding books, textbooks, digital ebooks and book chapters is an excellent strategy to find resources that present an overview and summary of research. There are several databases including Brock's Omni database that help search for and retrieve these resources.
Many current Open Educational Resources (OERs) are excellent starting points and digital texts that help define terms, concepts and sociological perspectives.
