The videos below show you two ways to find peer-reviewed and empirical studies in academic journals. There are other ways but these two methods will get you started. 

First is Omni. This is a the Library's search tool for just about everything the library owns - that's for both print or online.

Google Scholar

Google Scholar attempts to search all known scholarly material though much of the peer reviewed articles are not free. This video shows how to avoid paying for articles found in Google Scholar that you have access through the Library's subscriptions.  

Mining the Bibliography and Google Scholar 'Cited By'
