Important information for teachers:
- See Program Planning and Assessment and Evaluation (on the menu at the top of every page of the site) for policy on implementation of the curriculum across all subjects and grades.
- Look for the Curriculum Context button (in each curriculum) for information that supports the teaching of that specific subject. This section has information that guides educators as they develop lessons and programs.
Trillium List
Access the Trillium List for approved Ontario Ministry of Education textbook resources for use in Ontario Schools. Search Omni for access to physical copies of these materials.

Locating historical documents can be tricky as not everything has been digitized and made available online. Try these places first:

OISE Ontario Historical Education Collections (OHEC)
Includes documents from the Ontario Ministry of Education (formerly the Ontario Department of Education) that cover elementary, secondary, and teacher education from the mid-nineteenth century to the present.
Ontario Government Education Documents and Curricula (Internet Archive)
Includes materials from the Ontario Ministry of Education covering the areas of elementary, secondary and teacher
education in the province from the mid-nineteenth century onward. It includes curricula, teaching and certification guidelines, school administration documents, as well as educational legislation, commissions, and reports.
