Streaming Media

Streaming videos are excellent learning tools for labs, writing, information and entertainment. The Library Subscribes to streaming video databases that provide licensed content for viewing, editing, capturing clips when appropriate, downloading descriptions, citations, and transcripts when available. A full list of Brock Library streaming video databases including a listing of free or open databases is available here.

Omni (limiting searches by Resource Type: Video/Film) will identify all streaming content including DVDs owned and loadable in the James A. Gibson and IRC libraries.

- Stream critically acclaimed movies, documentaries, independent and foreign films, and educational "how to" videos.
- Videos enabled with closed captions and transcripts.
- Kanopy access is mediated: the Brock Library leases Kanopy films by request for instruction and focused research. See more information.
