We have developed an ongoing initiative to help researchers at Brock expand the reach of their publications. If you have published your research traditionally, you can still deposit a version of it in the Brock Digital Repository. This is also referred to as the green open access method of publishing. The Help with Deposit feature below will help identify if your publication is eligible for submission in the Brock Repository.
If you were directed to this page through an email identifying your work as eligible for depositing in the repository, welcome! The tool below will help you through the remaining next steps. If you didn't click on a link in your email to get here, but would like to know more about Open Access versions of your paper please see the Depositing an Open Access Version of your Publication page for more details.

For the academic year of 2024-2025 there were a total of 650 articles published by Brock affiliated authors. Of those 355 were Closed. Meaning they require some sort of payment (like a subscription) to view. Of those articles 188 can be made Open Access via a free pathway. This might include uploading a submitted or accepted version of the article to the Brock University Digital Repository. Of these, 106 articles have the Brock author as the corresponding or first author for that piece.
Out plan is to contact these 106 authors to see if they can submit a version of their work we can turn into Open Access. The form above checks the DOI of your article to see what version you can use.
